I've been writing as long as I can remember. I started with screenplays, one of which, “Damaged,” was a finalist in the Austin Heart of Film competition and a semi-finalist in the Fade-In screenwriting competition. I've also worked as a copywriter for various websites such as Right Start, FAO Schwarz, Zany Brainy and The Vista Studios, and wrote the Right Start catalog for several years. (Which was a lot of fun since my kids were young and could play with the products!) I've written a "Mom's Eye View" column for a newsletter and have had articles printed in various publications in Los Angeles, Michigan and New York.
